Are you following Helene Meisler here on TheStreet Pro?

If not, you should.

Helene writes two columns daily, one of which is called Top Stocks. In Top Stocks, Helene answers reader questions and provides her own market analyses.

The June 9th edition of Top Stocks was called, "As Small Caps Get the Bigger Gains, What's Next for Volatility." She began that piece by suggesting that the rally people expected in the iShares Russell 2000 ETF IWM would not be as easy as many hoped. She saw 215 as a level that the ETF might have trouble getting through. And she was right. The ETF fell about 3% over the next week.

But it's her call on Wynn Resorts WYNN that I would like to shout about today. A subscriber had asked her about the stock at higher levels, and she was finally ready to recommend it on June 9th.

Here are her words and chart from that day:

So, how'd she do?

Pretty well! WYNN was a WIN! Shares ended this week at $105.63, or nearly 25% above the price she recommended them at.

Well done, Helene and all of our subscribers who followed her on this trade.

Other Interesting Articles From Around the Arena

My wife convinced me to move to Colorado for the skiing. But it's the summers that I find to be the most magical. Our sister publication, Powder, reviews 5 Colorado Ski Towns That Are Magic in the Off-Season. My personal favorite is Crested Butte, which you can actually hike to Aspen from!

Back in the 1980s, my much cooler older cousin used to wear a TAG Heuer motorsports watch. We were teenagers then, so this wasn't one of the expensive watches. Rather, it was made of plastic, colored blue, and was still more expensive than I could afford. Well, it's the summer of F1, with the release of the F1 movie starring Brad Pitt, and TAG is back with that watch I coveted, though with a more expensive movement. I think the price is still out of my reach. But you can read more about it here on Men's Journal in TAG Heuer Embraces Formula 1 Fever With Nine Must-Have Timepieces.

Since it's July, that means summer vacations and surfing for many of us. I'm not a surfer, but I have some die hard surfers in my family. I won't even ask how many of these places they've surfed, but it might be all of them. If you're planning a surf trip, this article from sister publication Surfer might help you find 6 of the Best Places to Surf in July.

Finally, when I'm not working on TheStreet and TheStreet Pro, I'm probably writing for Autoblog. If I'm not writing for Autoblog, there's a good chance I'm thinking about cars. And this book from Richard Scarry is the reason. It's my firm belief that Cars and Trucks and Things that Go is The Most Important Book About Cars. Why? It's a story about a family of pigs, but its impact on my life has been profound. It contributed to my becoming a car person.

Have a great weekend!
