Rough Price Target for a Promising Quantum Computing Name Working With Nvidia
As an upstart quantum computing firm with some significant promise moves forward toward registration, I see a target price.

You all may recall a SPAC that I had started moving my quantum computing investment dollars into back in October, funding the trade with profits from our SU$10 trades in Quantum Computing Inc (QUBT) and D-Wave Quantum (QBTS) . That SPAC is Churchill Capital Corp X (CCCX). The target is a quantum computing firm known as Infleqtion that I have mentioned several times.
Last week, on January 6, Infleqtion and Churchill Capital Corp X finally filed a Form S-4 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The deal, valued at about $1.8 billion is still expected to close at some point during the first quarter. After the merger is consummated, the surviving company will use the corporate name Infleqtion, Inc and trade under the ticker "INFQ" on a leading North American stock exchange.
Infleqtion, for those unfamiliar, is a leader in neutral-atom quantum computing. The firm specializes in precision sensing, quantum software and, of course, quantum computing. Infleqtion has recently achieved 12 logical qubits with error detection and correction, decisively besting the firm's goal for all of 2026 of 10 logical qubits. The firm's goal is now 1,000 logical qubits by the year 2030.
For those of you who were curious, but afraid to ask, one qubit is one basic unit of quantum information. Unlike classical bits, which must either be a 1 or a 0, qubits can represent any value in between 0 and 1. They can also represent multiple values at once. Who's involved? Of course, Nvidia (NVDA) is collaborating with the firm to integrate its NVQLink quantum architecture with existing or future GPU-accelerated artificial intelligence systems.
What Are Neutral Atoms?
Neutral atoms can be trapped by laser beams and used as qubits. This process, which is the process used by Infleqtion, provides likely advantages in scalability and can operate in or at close to room temperature, unlike supercomputers that require extreme cryogenics to keep cool.
What's a Form S-4?
Form S-4 registration statements are filed with the SEC when firms are preparing mergers and acquisitions or offers of their own securities. An S-4 is the official disclosure statement to shareholders in order to solicit votes for necessary approval for the pending transaction.
The Chart

Readers will see that the stock of the SPAC, CCCX, has been trying, in slow motion, to break out of that double-bottom pattern of bullish reversal that I showed you about three weeks ago.
The pattern provides a $16 pivot, which for me translates roughly into a $20 target. The truth is, I am just waiting on the merger, so the target is nothing I am all that concerned with at this time.
I also see, and I have no information on any of this, a major legacy tech firm, someone perhaps like IBM (IBM) getting more deeply involved in the space and choosing to acquire some growth or technological development rather than try to develop these businesses organically. Just an idea.
At the time of publication, Guilfoyle was long CCCX and NVDA equity.
