Broadening the $10,000 Portfolio With Quantum Computing Name

We'll initiate this 'best in class' play into our portfolio and place another name in the portfolio's bullpen.

Quantum Computer

As we hit day four of the existence of the $10,000 Portfolio, we continue to deploy cash in an attempt to take advantage of a weak marketplace. Feast or curse? We'll let you know down the road a bit.

Let us move along...

Infleqtion

Infleqtion (INFQ), which was born from a SPAC known as Churchill Capital X (CCCX) that caught our attention in 2025, just went public in mid-February. We'll carry this very speculative play that we see as a potentially "best in class" quantum computing name (at least eventually) over into the $10,000 Portfolio.

The company's technology is different from other quantum computing players involving 1,600-site neutral atom arrays and a 99.73% entangling gate fidelity. It is still burning cash but has reported revenue of $30.9 million over the trailing 12 months and at least as of mid-2025 had outperformed its quantum competitors in terms of sales over that prior 12 months.

By October 2025, Infleqtion had announced that it had hit 12 logical qubits and was targeting 30 by the end of this year and 100 by the end of 2028. Infleqtion's leadership in this cutting-edge technology has led to a collaboration with Nvidia  (NVDA)  using that firm's NVQLink platform to try to create their own platform that would unify quantum and classical computing for next generation, high-end users.

My plan is to initiate this name in very small size, leaving dry powder to add as I do not at all trust the stock not to violate the $10 level again, as it did just after going public, and I would like to grow this position over time.

Readers will see a falling wedge of bullish reversal (going back to its CCCX days) that does not yet look like it's ready to close. Relative Strength is neutral, but the daily MACD is just starting to reflect a more bullish posture.

- Purchase 50 shares of INFQ at or close to the recent sale $10.50. I will initiate my long position after this article is public information.

Bullpen Add

We'll add Newsmax Inc. (NMAX) to the $10,000 Portfolio bullpen based on the better-than-expected guidance issued by the company this morning.
