Market conditions are improving on Wednesday after a hesitant start. Breadth is the strongest in a while, with about 70% of stocks in positive territory.

When breadth is this robust, it typically means small caps are leading the charge, and that is exactly what we are seeing on Wednesday with the Russell 2000 up 1.36%.

The Magnificent Seven and the Nasdaq 100 are shrugging off recent pressure, helping stabilize the overall mood. While Walmart (WMT)  and Eli Lilly (LLY)  are lagging slightly on Wednesday, both have shown excellent relative strength compared to technology names and are due for a rest.

PureCycle Technologies Fundamentals

I have a slew of small-cap names posting earnings soon, and I am positioning as those dates approach. One name reporting February 26 is PureCycle Technologies (PCT) . I have discussed this one several times and have been actively trading the volatility. While it pulled back sharply over the last month due to macro conditions, it is bouncing firmly today.

The fundamental story here is focused on their unique ability to recycle polypropylene into a "virgin-like" resin called "PureFive." This isn't just a science project any longer. The company recently announced a partnership with TOPPAN, a massive Japanese player, to create snack bar wrappers using this recycled plastic. This fits perfectly with the recent addition of a Mars family member to the board of directors, signaling that major consumer goods companies are looking closely at PCT's output.

Furthermore, what initially interested me in the stock was Stanley Druckenmiller's involvement. A 13F filing on Wednesday night showed that Stanley Druckenmiller's Duquesne Family Office significantly increased its position during the fourth quarter of 2025. He added roughly 25%, bringing his total stake to over 2.8 million shares. I will be adding to my PCT positions on this strength.

High-Conviction Charts to Watch

Outside of PCT, I own a number of other stocks that have much more attractive charts. Some are sitting right at key support levels, while others are consolidating and looking for imminent breakouts. Most have earnings news on the horizon, which adds risk but also provides the catalyst for a move.

The charts I like best right now include:

1. TeraWulf (WULF)

2. Xeris Biopharma Holdings (XERS)

3. ADMA Biologics (ADMA)

4. Alto Neuroscience (ANRO)

5. Astronics Corporation (ATRO)

6. Cullinan Therapeutics (CGEM)

7. Definium Therapeutics (DFTX)

8. Emergent BioSolutions (EBS)

9. Ondas Holdings (ONDS)

10. SEI Investments (SEI)

11. Viavi Solutions (VIAV)

I trade all of these aggressively and will be adjusting my position sizes as the specific earnings dates approach.

At the time of publication, DePorre was long PCT, WULF, XERS, ADMA, ANRO, ATRO, CGEM, DFTX, EBS, ONDS, SEI and VIAV.
