As the closing bang finished ringing at the NYSE on Wednesday, Chris Versace visited with the folks at "Taking Stock" to discuss the market’s afternoon rebound, and to share his thoughts on Netflix (NFLX) , housing and what to watch in Friday’s Flash PMI report.

On Thursday morning, Chris returned to the NYSE to chat with Diane King Hall at the Schwab Network about Wednesday's market action and next week’s wave of Big Tech earnings. Next week sees 32% of the S&P 500 reporting, but S&P 500 and Nasdaq heavyweights Apple (AAPL) , Meta (META) , Microsoft (MSFT)  and Amazon (AMZN)  are on deck.

Chris shared what the Portfolio will be watching and why aggregate capex comments from the hyperscalers will be a market focal point as will margins. He also shared why he sees Apple shares rangebound near-term and discusses the next catalyst to watch.

He also reminded folks why understanding a company’s end market exposure is a must, using Marvell (MRVL)  and our recent exit of Qualcomm (QCOM)  as examples.

When that conversation is available later today, we’ll share it with you.
