As it relates to AI infrastructure demand, let’s remember that after Tuesday’s market close, we’ll hear from Dell Technologies (DELL) with the market listening closely to what it says about the outlook for AI server and related data center solutions.
When Dell reported its most recent quarter in late August, it shared that it booked $5.6 billion in orders during the quarter and exited it with $11.7 billion in backlog that was “rich” with Blackwell.
Based on announcements between then and the close of Dell’s October quarter, it would be surprising not to see a move higher in both those figures. However, given comments about memory pricing, we could see Dell’s margins be a focal point as well. As it relates to Nvidia (NVDA) and overall, AI infrastructure demand, we’ll focus on those order and backlog figures.
We’ll also be following the matriculation of AI PCs as part of Dell’s PC mix, given our position in Qualcomm (QCOM) . The same goes for HP (HPQ) when it reports after Tuesday’s market close, and in that report as well, we’ll be focused on what it says about the AI PC market for the holiday season and into 2026.
At the time of publication, TheStreet Pro Portfolio was long NVDA and QCOM.
